SES run regular scheduled 3 day First Aid at Work training courses from our training centre in Essex. We can also run 'on site' First Aid at Work courses at your premises or arrange a course specifically for you at our training centre. All of our First Aid Courses are regulated by OFQUAL.
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If your First Aid risk assessment highlights the need for qualified First Aider's, then this Level 3 qualification will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel. This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.

This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level. A minimum of 18 hours spread over at least three days.
Ideally, the course should be run over three consecutive days, but we have the flexibility to accommodate your specific needs if you so desire providing it is completed within 10 weeks of starting the course. A range of subjects is covered including:

• Legalities, responsibilities and reporting 
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty 
• Fractures and spinal injuries 
• Control of bleeding 
• Poisoning 
• Burns 
• Epilepsy 
• Assessment of the situation 
• Shock (including Anaphylaxis) 
• Heart attacks 
• Head injuries 
• Chest injuries 
• Asthma 
• Stroke 
• Resuscitation 
• Bandaging 
• Choking 
• Eye Injuries 
• Sprains and strains 
• Diabetes
