posted 28 Nov 2013, 01:19 by Unknown user   [ updated 14 Jan 2014, 00:35 ]
The changes to first aid regulations that came into force 1 October 2013 remove the requirement for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to approve first aid training providers.
Workplace First Aid Changes

These changes now enable businesses to have more flexibility in choosing their own training providers and first aid training that is suitable for their workplace, based on their assessment and their own individual business needs. Businesses still have a legal requirement to make arrangements to ensure that their employees receive immediate attention if they fall ill or are injured in the workplace.

Stansted Environmental Services still remain committed to deliver you the highest standards in First Aid Training. If you choose Stansted Environmental Services to train your first aiders, you can rest assure that you'll be getting the right training to meet your legal obligations, both before the changes and that now the regulations have been implemented.
